1 useless in early Saturday crash in W. Wendover, Greensboro Police say | Native

GREENSBORO – A driver died after walking off the road early Saturday and hitting a high voltage pylon, police said.

The police did not reveal the name or any other information about the driver until they were clearly identified.

A black Hyundai sonata traveling east on West Wendover Avenue, east of South Holden Road, came off the road around 12:40 p.m. Saturday and hit the tower, police said in a press release. The driver was pronounced dead. There was no one in the car, the police said.
