1 useless, three injured in a crash early Wednesday within the US 29, say Greensboro Native Police

GREENSBORO – A 21-year-old was killed and three others were injured in a single vehicle crash early Wednesday in the U.S. 29, police said in a press release.

The officers responded to a report of a 2006 Acura crash on US 29 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 4:50 a.m., according to police.

The four-occupant vehicle pulled off the road to the right. Dabney Jo Grubbs from Reidsville was thrown out of the car and died, police said.

The other three were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The police did not say who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Police said speed and impairment are believed to be factors behind the crash, which authorities are continuing to investigate.
