“Our music ensembles have a collective membership of more than 300 volunteer musicians from around the area, but there’s still room for you!” Said Ryan Deal, city’s chief creative economy officer and director of Creative Greensboro. “If you’re wondering if this opportunity is right for you, the answer is yes! While we are still carefully monitoring and controlling the Covid-19 precautions, we also acknowledge the vital service and opportunity these community ensembles provide when members join to make music together and routinely as part of the free concert program of the City to perform.
Interested members should plan to register and deposit the $ 25 entry fee before the published deadline; Appropriate fee assistance is possible. Creative Greensboro encourages all attendees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The ensembles will operate according to the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the City of Greensboro, which currently include the requirement that all persons, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask in the interior of the Greensboro Cultural Center. Participants who play wind and brass instruments are asked to wear a modified face covering, as well as a bell cover for their instrument.
