Donut World Closes Greensboro Retailer; Blue denim spices up the Mardi Gras menu | meal

Donut world at 3027 Randleman Road in Greensboro is closed.

Lean Ly, co-owner of Donut World stores in Greensboro, said she sold the store on Randleman Road three years ago. Ly has confirmed that the current owners have closed the store, but couldn’t provide any further details.

A call to the current owner of the shop was not answered.

The store on Randleman Road opened in 2012.

Donut World stores are currently located in Greensboro at 2509 Battleground Ave. and 5561 W. Market St. (Information corrected to correct an error. See correction at end of story. 12 noon / February 20, 2019)

The shops offer dozens of varieties of raed and cake donuts, donut bars, cinnamon rolls, bear claw and the shop’s popular apple fritters.

Mardi Gras menu

Blue denim at 217 S. Elm St. in Greensboro is offering its 12th Annual Throw Me Somethin ‘Mister Mardi Gras Menu.

The seasonal menu of New Orleans-inspired favorites will be available through March 9th.

From March 6th, the restaurant will be offering shrimp cooking every Wednesday evening. For $ 18 you can get half a pound of prawns with corn, potatoes, sausage and bread.
