Firearm fired in battle at 4 Seasons Procuring Middle in Greensboro; 2 males in custody | Native information

GREENSBORO – Two people are on remand after a shot was fired at the Four Seasons Town Center in Greensboro on Saturday night.

Ivan Joseph Smyre, 25, of Greensboro and Robert Lamont King, 26, have been taken into custody, according to a Greensboro Police press release.

The officers were called to the mall at 410 Four Seasons Town Center at around 8:15 p.m. after a shot was fired during a brawl.

No one was injured in the shooting, which took place shortly before the mall was scheduled to close. The mall security could get everyone out safely and shut down the mall.

Police said those involved in the fighting tried to leave after the shooting, but officers immediately detained two people.

Police have not said what, if any, charges are against Smyre or King, and the incident is still under investigation.
