Forge Greensboro featured on UNC TV Present | Weblog: Go Triad – A&E Additional
GRÜNSBORO – Forge Greensboro will appear in a segment of “InnovateNC” on Monday at 9pm on UNC-TV.
InnovateNC is a series of programs that focus on InnovateNC, a cross-city learning collaboration that supports innovative economic development in five North Carolina communities. It is the nation’s first public-private innovation initiative of its kind. It emerged from the 2015 Emerging Issues Forum hosted by the Institute for Emerging Issues at NC State University. The InnovateGSO council, a diverse group of more than two dozen local community leaders, focused on creating a more inclusive local innovation economy by developing strategies to “connect the underserved”.
The Greensboro episode will focus on design projects.
Forge Greensboro is a non-profit community makerspace. The facility provides entrepreneurs, small businesses, craftsmen, students, hobbyists, and inventors with affordable access to tools and technology.
Forge Greensboro will be hosting an early viewing and popcorn party at the facility at 219 W. Lewis St.
