GREENSBORO, NC – City council will recognize the Greensboro Housing Authority on Tuesday May 21 for their work in transforming the Claremont Court community.

The GHA used a federal grant of $ 6 million to upgrade the public housing complex built in 1969.

The GHA used this money to install new exterior cladding, new roofs, central heating, and ventilation and play equipment, among other things.

The GHA completed the renovation in summer 2012.
