Greensboro man hit by a driver on West Market Road has died of his accidents, police say | Native

GREENSBORO – A person is dead after being hit by a vehicle on West Market Street Saturday, Greensboro police said in a press release.

At around 10:10 a.m., a 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by 31-year-old Tamiko Escutia from Greensboro hit a pedestrian at the intersection of West Market Street and North Walnut Circle, according to police.

The pedestrian, identified as Greensboro-born Kyle Mitchell Salazar, 35, was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Salazar died of his injuries on Wednesday, police said.

The investigation into the crash continues.
