GREENSBORO, NC – The organizers of the Greensboro Food Truck Festival say the event is always a success.

The organizer Shari Kumiega expected up to 15,000 visitors on Sunday.

This is the fifth year of the festival. It was originally held on Spring Garden and Champan Streets, but due to its popularity, it has been moved downtown to accommodate larger crowds.

More than 50 food and craft vendors set up their trucks and tents along Greene and Market Streets from 4pm to 9pm

Kumiega says local businesses will benefit from the festival. Queues formed in front of the surrounding shops and restaurants as the festival crowd flocked to downtown shops.

The organizers say the next festival is planned for August 28th.
