GREENSBORO – A Randleman resident was killed in a collision on Business Interstate 85 South this afternoon.

William Yow, 61, was driving off the interstate onto South Holden Road at 4:11 p.m. when his Ford F-150 went off the road and hit the rear of a disabled semi-trailer in the median, according to a police press release.

The driver of the semi-trailer was not injured.

The crash is still being investigated.

GREENSBORO – One person was killed on a wreck involving a semi-trailer truck and a pickup truck.

It is unclear which vehicle the deceased was traveling in.

The wreck occurred on the exit from Business Interstate 85 to Holden Road, said Susan Danielsen, a Greensboro police spokeswoman.

The police do not identify the person until the family is notified.

According to a police chief, the police were called to the wreck at around 4:11 pm.

It is unclear whether the person was pronounced dead on the scene or in a hospital.
