GREENSBORO – The Opus Concert Series will return from November 29th for the 2020-21 season.

Creative Greensboro, the city’s arts and culture bureau, will broadcast its fall concerts on Sunday, November 29th through December 20th at 6pm on Creative Greensboro’s Facebook page at

A Facebook account is not required to see the concerts. Concerts range from classic and holiday favorites to tango and R&B.

They include small groups of musicians from two city-sponsored community music ensembles, Philharmonia of Greensboro and Greensboro Concert Band, as well as guest artists such as the Lorena Guillen Tango Ensemble and Sheila Star Productions.

“Greensboro loves live music – and while we still can’t go back to typical in-person music events, we are excited to reaffirm our commitment to this free series of concerts and to the members of our creative community who help bring it to life. “The city’s chief creative economy officer, Ryan Deal, said in a press release.

“More than 175,000 spectators signed up for our MUSEP virtual concert series this summer,” said Deal. “We look forward to continuing with virtual offers in the fall and winter.” The guest artists – a first for the Opus series – will help the series reflect the diverse musical interests of our community. “
