Main improvement challenge underway in East Greensboro | Corporations

Greensboro, NC – The United House of Prayer for All People® is pleased to announce that construction is underway on Bailey Village in New Downtown East, an exciting new residential complex in East Greensboro.

Bailey Village in New Downtown East will include 172 luxury apartments – a choice of one, two and three bedroom units. The site will offer walkable inner streets, parking lots, a dog park and a unique “linear green space” that will serve as a recreational and activity area for residents. There will be up to 30,000 square feet for a future anchor national grocer and up to 6,000 square feet for retail space to support the community – restaurants and national service providers.

The 13.7-acre site at 900 East Market Street previously served as the United States Post Office and was strategically purchased by The United House of Prayer for All People® in 2005. Factors Affecting Property Purchase And Current Time Of Development These Include Close Proximity To North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&T) And Bennett College, Continued Growth And Development In Downtown Greensboro, And Market Demand For additional rental apartments and retail in the area.



Throughout the planning and design process, the United House of Prayer for All People® worked closely with community leaders and other key stakeholders to shape the components of the project and provide an exciting new development product that will meet the needs of the community to a high degree . represents strength and beauty, and it conveys a sense of pride, energy, and space in this section of East Greensboro.

The United House of Prayer for All People® is partnering with Barnhill Contracting Company to build Bailey Village in New Downtown East. As a predominantly minority organization, the United House of Prayer for All People® works to ensure that contractors, suppliers and other minority-owned companies are involved in the project and has set the expectations of the contractors for this project.

According to the current schedule, the project should be completed in spring 2022.
