Man discovered shot useless in Greensboro early Saturday, police say | crime

GREENSBORO – Police are investigating a homicide Saturday morning shooting after the victim died in hospital.

Officials checked in at 9:25 a.m. at the 3700 block on West Avenue to get a report on someone who was shot injured and found Malik Ahmad Peterson, 20, of Guilford County, police said in a press release. Peterson was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The police have no information on a possible suspect.
