Metropolis is providing free parking vouchers for companies within the Greensboro Central Enterprise District to present to prospects | Native authorities
GREENSBORO – Restaurants and retailers in the Central Business District can give away free parking vouchers from the city to their customers.
The “Deck Pass” program is an attempt to stimulate further economic recovery, the city said in a press release on Thursday when the city’s Department of Transportation announced the program.
The Deck Pass program offers free parking in five city-operated parking decks through the end of the year. The first round of vouchers will be given to companies that apply on July 12th. Companies can register at https://tinyurl.com/DeckPassGSO2021.
These vouchers are valid on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for up to two free hours of parking. Parking decks are already free in the first hour from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 3 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends, the city said. The vouchers cannot be used for paid parking on the street.
Retail establishments and restaurants that participate in the city’s existing Park Validation Stamp Program are eligible to receive the free vouchers. One Deck Pass voucher per customer is permitted per parking event.
