Police establish man fatally shot in Greensboro this afternoon | crime

GREENSBORO – Authorities identified a man killed this afternoon as a 24-year-old Greensboro man.

Naikeem Taylor was found fatally shot in the 100 block on Greenbriar Road, according to a police press release. The authorities are investigating murder.

At 1:44 p.m. today, officers responded to a call about the shooting and found a person with a gunshot wound. The victim was declared dead on site, the police said.

The victim’s identity will be made public as soon as the next of kin are notified. Additional information, including possible suspects, was not immediately available and police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
