Police report a 3rd armed theft of a store in Greensboro by a suspect. Is it the identical lady | crime

GREENSBORO – An armed woman robbed a supermarket early Monday morning, according to a Greensboro Police press release.

At 1:41 p.m., officers from K County at 3001 Pleasant Garden Road responded about a robbery going out of business. The suspect took an unknown amount of cash at gunpoint and left him in a red and brown limousine, the police said.

It is at least the third case this month in Greensboro that an armed woman has robbed a gas station.

On November 14, an armed woman robbed Quality Mart at 2622 Battleground Avenue. On November 17th, a similar robbery took place at BP Family Fare at 4700 W. Market St. No injuries were reported.

Greensboro police spokesman Ron Glenn said in an email that “there is a good chance they are the same suspect” who was involved in the robberies.

He said investigators are working to confirm the suspect’s identity and that the incidents are still under investigation.
