GREENSBORO – Three-time Grammy-winning Maxwell will perform at Greensboro Coliseum on March 20th, according to a Colosseum press release.

Tickets will go on sale on November 29th at Ticketmaster.com. Anthony Hamilton and Joe will also perform.

Maxwell’s new full-length album “blacksummers’NIGHT” is expected to be released next spring. It concludes the trilogy that he began in 2009 with the Grammy-winning BLACKsummers’night.

He released a new track, “Off”, from the upcoming album.

“Maxwell’s music has been the soundtrack to many of our lives,” said Shelby Joyner, president of the Black Promoters Collective, in the press release. “Right now people are ready to go back to live music and regain a sense of normalcy.”

Maxwell will also receive the Legend Award at the upcoming Soul Train Awards in 2021, according to the publication.

“BLACKsummers’night” debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and won two Grammys, including Best R&B Album. His last album “blackSUMMERS’night” brought Maxwell his third Grammy (Best R&B Song for “Lake By The Ocean”), a NAACP Image Award (Outstanding Male Artist) and a Soul Train Award (Best R&B / Soul Male Artist) . .
