The Greensboro Meals Truck Pageant is simply across the nook
GREENSBORO, NC – Food trucks have become a huge part of our culture. It seems like there’s another truck on the corner everywhere. But wouldn’t it be nice if we could get them all in one place. Well, let’s go. It’s time for the Greensboro Food Truck Festival!
According to festival coordinator Shari Kumeiga, it continues to grow every year.
“We started over on Chapman Street in the early days, but eventually moved downtown, and that’s where the growth really started,” said Kumeiga. “And now we’re 50 trucks strong and we’re still growing.”
Food trucks all have a specialty and there is something for everyone and maybe a few things that you would not expect.
“We even have fortified popsicles this year!” said Kumeiga, “And there is a truck that makes special nachos in a bag!”
The festival takes place on Sunday, August 29th from 3pm to 9pm. You can find the trucks on Elm Street, Market Street and Greene Street.
