GREENSBORO, NC – The Tiger Woods agent has confirmed to ESPN that Tiger Woods will play in the Wyndham Championship this week.

It’s his first time playing in Greensboro.

Woods competed over the weekend, but there was speculation as to whether or not he would actually take part in the tournament.

The 2015 Wyndham Championship takes place today through August 23 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.

Woods has won 14 major championships over the course of his career, second only to Jack Nicklaus’ 18.

Woods’ 79 wins on the PGA Tour rank second after Sam Snead’s 82 wins.

The 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines was Woods’ last major championship win.

The Wyndham Championship is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in Greensboro.
