GREENSBORO – Police have been investigating two separate shootings since Thursday afternoon, in which four people were injured – one fatal. This comes from press releases from the Greensboro Police Department.
Police responded to the 2400 block on Lake Brandt Place shortly before 5:00 p.m. Thursday and found a person “with injuries after reports of gunfire,” the report said. Early Friday, police said 19-year-old Robert Andre Bacote Jr. of High Point did not survive his injuries and the case is currently being investigated as a murder.
The shoot did not perform in a residence and tThere is currently no suspicious information, according to Ron Glenn, a police spokesman.
At 12:50 am on Friday, police were called to the 4100 block on Spring Garden Street and found three people “with injuries from apparent gunfire.” “The three victims, all of them adult men, had injuries that were not considered life-threatening,” Glenn said in an email Friday morning.
There is also currently no suspicious information available about this shoot, Glenn said.
