UPS is recruiting greater than 150 part-time staff in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, NC (WGHP) – UPS is recruiting 150+ employees to fill a permanent, part-time position in Greensboro.

The company says it has seen “an unprecedented surge in e-commerce-related shipping.”

For this reason, UPS is trying to increase the number of parcel handlers in UPS sorting centers and centers.

“We pride ourselves on moving our world forward by delivering what matters and the rapid and continuous growth of e-commerce coupled with the general demand for our services is creating new part-time opportunities,” said Chris Franzoni, Director of Human Resources. “We’re looking for people to join our team here in the Greensboro area and potentially start a great career with UPS.”

UPS says more than 56% of current UPS drivers and executives were originally hired for part-time jobs as package handlers. That means these jobs can lead to careers.

Eligible college employees can receive up to $ 25,000 in their school expenses. That is in addition to the hourly wage.
