Senior Resources of Guilford is hosting a free Drive-Thru Veterans Resource Fair Thursday from 9:30 am to 11:30 amMay 20th at the Evergreens Lifestyle Center, 1401 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro; Friday 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., May 21 Roy B. Culler Jr. Retirement Center, 921 Eastchester Drive, Suite 1230, High Point; and 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., May 26, at the AuthoraCare Collective, Lusk Center, 2501 Summit Ave. in Greensboro.
This is a project led by the Piedmont Community Veteran and Caregiver Coalition. Organizational partners include AuthoraCare Collective, the Senior Resources of Guilford / Family Caregiver Support Program, the AARP Triad Region, Guilford County Veterans Services, Guilford Disability Advocacy Center, and the Vet Connect program.
Participating sponsors / supporters include the Piedmont Community Veteran and Caregiver Coalition; Griswold Home Care; Triad Retirement Living Association; Biscuitville; and Subway Maple Avenue, Burlington location.
It offers resources on health and wellness, education, support groups, and legal services. A pocket breakfast / lunch is also offered.
