Wilma was born in Cambria, VA, in 1937 to the late Frank and Reba Rush. She was a beautiful, loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She valued her family and church family at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, and had a deep and abiding faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the embodiment of Proverbs 31: 10-31. Even during her decline in the last few years of her life, when her memories of Alzheimer’s disease were revealed, she retained her kind spirit and loving heart. She was the rock of our family and is missed by everyone who knows her.

A celebration of their lives and remembrance will be held Tuesday, August 24th at 11 a.m. at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends in the church from 10 a.m. before the service. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, August 25th at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, VA.
