Winston Salem man faces extra fees final month of hit and run that killed Greensboro’s spouse, police say | crime

WINSTON-SALEM – A Winston Salem driver will be charged again after he hit and killed a Greensboro pedestrian in May, authorities said Saturday.

Collin Wayne Walser, 25, was charged with death from motor vehicles and hit and run on Friday, Winston-Salem police said. He was also charged with disability driving, police said.

Authorities said Walser left on May 22. She died six days later on May 28.

Investigators presented evidence to Forsyth County prosecutors before Walser was arrested on the new charges, police said.

He was bailed for $ 40,000, police said, and is due to appear in court on July 8th and October 29th.
