GREENSBORO, NC – On Saturday, August 7th, the Greensboro YMCA is hosting a job fair to fill multi-department open part-time positions in many of its Guilford County locations. The event provides specific information on employment opportunities for youth development leaders (post-school counselors and site coordinators), swimming instructors, member services and lifeguards.

“A job at Y is a great opportunity to turn a passion for the community into a rewarding and successful career,” said Sherri Self, human resources director at YMCA of Greensboro. “Many of our leaders started their YMCA careers part-time, so we look forward to hosting this event and meeting the future generation of Y leaders in our region.”

The event will be held at the Spears Family YMCA at 3216 Horse Pen Creek Road in Greensboro from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Event attendees will have the opportunity to find out about vacancies at the YMCA of the Greensboro branches, gain insight into working at Y, and apply for positions on site if they wish.
